Are field box seats good at Fenway? ›

Field Boxes, also known as the "lower bowl,” have excellent views and are coveted among fans with money to spend. Many season-ticket holders sit in the Loge Box, to the right of home plate. Other hardcore fans tend to congregate in Section 40, close to center field.

The Field Boxes at Fenway Park are some of the best seats for a Red Sox game. These seats offer fantastic, unobstructed views from within 20 rows of the field. Guests will be hard-pressed to find a bad seat in this area. The biggest complaints typically center around the size and discomfort of the actual seats.

On the Red Sox seating chart, main level sections in right field are known as Right Field Boxes. These sections are adjacent to the popular Field Boxes and Loge Boxes, but offer a different experience. These are the cheapest unobstructed tickets on the main level of Fenway Park.

In the deepest part of right field at Fenway Park, seat 21 in row 37 of section 42 is painted bright red, standing out amongst an endless sea of green. It's such a Fenway landmark that it's even visible on the official seating chart when fans buy tickets from RedSox.com.

There are covered seats in the Infield Grandstand sections on the lower level, behind home plate or on the 3rd base side of the ballpark, and farther back in one of those same sections or in a row that's covered. The least covered seats are in the outfield bleachers, AKA sections BL34-BL43.

Even though all games are sold out well in advance, getting tickets a few days before the game of your choice (except the Yankees) is very much a possibility. For example, if you want to go to a Saturday game try to buy tickets online at the Red Sox official website around Monday or Tuesday.
